MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Vicky Mueller; Supervisor 3 Matthew Jicha; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris; Treasurer Hope Wesolowski

Members Absent: Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor

Others Present: Bob Wesolowski; Jack Pociask; James Pociask; Brian Hoffman; Greg & Brenda Warrington; Paul & Jacki Lewandowski; Anthony Och; Pete Koester; Hank Novak

Chairman Jeff Engelmann called the meeting to order at 7P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Mueller

Seconded by Supervisor Jicha; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes as read was made by Supervisor Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Mueller; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

BOH as of 08/01/2025

Checking $3,645.05

MM General Account $ 848,878.98

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

In Audience Comments, Anthony Ochs; Facility Manager for GFL introduced himself.

He will be back next month to review Contract with GFL.

Paul Lewandowski requested a variance for an old Mobile Home that he would like to set up on his property. He will be painting, skirting and inside renovations. Tabled until October meeting.

Pete Koester w/Wausaukee Recreation Association is asking the town if they would support monetarily the construction of a new Batting Cage Upgrade. Currently the old Batting Cage is outdated, with aging nets and diminished usability. The board agreed that they will look at this when Budget Meeting for 2026 is held.

Supervisor Jicha spoke to the board regarding “Ordinance Restricting Certain Artificial Wake Enhancement”. He stated that he spoke with the Dept. of Natural Resources and what the process is. This Ordinance would pertain to a few larger lakes in the Town of Wausaukee; There will be signage requirements, along with a list of other things to be covered. The Town board discussed ordinance and agreed that we create and pass it. Supervisor Jicha will proceed with the necessary steps to take and follow up with Town Board.

Road Construction 2026 is going well. Black Topping will be in this month along with wedging.

Glendale Bridge project is moving along. Oct.15,2025 is targeted date for bridge complete.
