MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Vicky Mueller; Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor; Supervisor 3 Matthew Jicha; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris,

Members Absent: Treasurer Hope Wesolowski

Chairman Engelmann called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Chairman Engelmann swore in re-elected Clerk Cheryl Stumbris; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris swore in re-elected Chairman Engelmann; newly elected Supervisor 1 Victoria Mueller and re-elected Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor1 Vicky Mueller; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes as read was made by Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor 3 Matt Jicha; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor 1 Victoria Mueller; Motion Carried

March & April Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Chairman Engelmann opened blacktop bids received from Fahrner Asphalt Sealers and Scott Construction. Supervisor Dennis Taylor made a motion to award bid to Scott Construction for Cold mix Blacktop $88.90 per ton; price per 20FT mile using 1,350 ton Cost $120,015.00; also Single Chip Seal cost per 20FT Mile @ $27,470.00 Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor, Motion carried.

Jeff Schwaller with Ranger City Riders Snowmobile Club talked with the Board regarding the season and if there were any problems. He assured the Board that he will continue to work on improvements of the trail. There is a need for a few more “crossing Signs” and he will get together with Road foreman to get that taken care of.

Chairman Engelmann gave update on Glendale Bridge project. He has a scheduled Scoping meeting on April 19, 2023 with Representatives from Dept. of Transportation, Ayers Associates and Coleman Engineering. For discussion of Outline of proposed Scope for what the project involves for design and replacement of the bridge along Glendale Rd. over the Wausaukee River.

Supervisor Vicky Mueller made a motion to set Board of Review date for the Town of Wausaukee to be held at the Town Hall on Tuesday May 9, 2023 as required by State Statutes at 6:59 PM. But will immediately adjourn to later date; Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha, Motion carried.

Supervisor Brandon Taylor made a motion to adopt Town of Wausaukee Special and Seasonal Weight Limitations Ordinance #348.17, Seconded by Supervisor Vicky Mueller. Motion Carried.

Weight Limitations Ordinance #041514 is expired.

Supervisor Vicky Mueller attended Capitol day in Madison. She gave brief summary of the day; focusing on Roads, Rescue and Grant writing

Clerk received Letter of Resignation for Town Hall Cleaning from Aimee Wesolowski.

Supervisor Brandon Taylor made a motion to adjourn at 7:47 pm; seconded by Supervisor Vicky Mueller. Motion carried.
